Booking choice: The Croke Park Stadium Tour, from $20 per person. Check dates Tour details
The GAA Museum sells its own ticket, €10 for an adult in 2026. It also comes free with every Croke Park tour, and the cheapest tour costs only a few euro more. That one fact changes the maths for most visitors: pay for the tour, get the museum, and spend the difference in the cafe.
The prices below are Croke Park's own 2026 desk prices in euro, from the museum page and the Stadium Tour page, set beside the from-prices in US dollars on GetYourGuide. Hours come from the same official pages. They change on match days, which is the one thing worth checking twice.
The quick answer
A museum-only ticket costs €10 for an adult in 2026, €8 for a child aged 3 to 12, and under-3s go free. The Stadium Tour (€18 at Croke Park, from $20 online) and the Skyline (€24, from $27 online) both include the museum. The museum generally opens 9:30 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday with shorter Sunday hours, and the last Stadium Tour leaves at 15:00.

What is the GAA Museum?
The national museum of Gaelic games, opened in 1998 under the Cusack Stand at Croke Park in Dublin 3. It is also the starting point of every Croke Park tour.
It tells the story of Gaelic games from their ancient roots to the modern All-Ireland finals, and of the GAA's place in Irish life. What you will actually spend time on:
- The original cups. The Sam Maguire Cup, presented from 1928 and retired in 1987, and the Liam MacCarthy Cup, first won by Limerick in 1923. Winners lift replicas now.
- The GAA Hall of Fame, opened in 2013 with the Football and Hurling Teams of the Millennium.
- A floor on the games today, and on the GAA's place in Irish social and cultural life.
- The Games Zone, where you test your reactions, your passing and a high catch. Children can lose an hour here.
- A sensory room on the first floor, for up to six people. The museum is JAM card friendly.

How much is a GAA Museum ticket in 2026?
€10 for an adult, €9 for a student or senior, €8 for a child aged 3 to 12. Under-3s go free, and families of four pay €24.
These are Croke Park's 2026 prices for the museum alone, without a tour. Bring ID for the student or senior rate.
| Museum only, 2026 | Price |
|---|---|
| Adult | €10 |
| Student or senior (valid ID) | €9 |
| Child, 3 to 12 | €8 |
| Under 3 | Free |
| Family, 2 adults and 2 children | €24 |
| Family, 2 adults and 3 children | €26 |
For a few euro more than the museum alone: dressing rooms, pitchside and the stands with a guide, museum included.
Check dates for the Croke Park Stadium TourWhich tickets include the GAA Museum?
Every Croke Park tour. The Stadium Tour and the Skyline rooftop tour both include museum entry, so a tour ticket is the only one most visitors need.
Here is what each ticket costs and buys, adult prices first. The two tours are separate tickets: the Skyline is not part of the Stadium Tour, and the Stadium Tour does not go onto the roof.
| Ticket | At Croke Park, adult | Online from | Museum | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stadium Tour | €18 (child €12) | $20 | Included | 1.5 hours + museum |
| Skyline rooftop tour | €24 (student/senior €22) | $27 | Included | About 1.5 hours + museum |
| Museum only | €10 (child €8) | n/a | Yes | 30 minutes or more |
Stadium Tour family tickets at Croke Park cost €48 for two adults and two children, €52 with a third child, and €27.50 for one adult with one child. Students and seniors pay €14.50. The Skyline is for ages 12 and up, so it has no child rate. If you want both tours, our Stadium Tour or Skyline guide shows how to fit them into one day.

The classic Croke Park visit: a 20-minute film, then the dressing rooms, pitchside and the stands, with the museum before or after.
Explore the Croke Park Stadium Tour Tour detailsIs it cheaper to book on GetYourGuide or with Croke Park?
About the same. The Stadium Tour is €18 at Croke Park and from $20 on GetYourGuide, which is close to the same money at 2026 exchange rates.
What changes is the small print. GetYourGuide prices in dollars and lets you cancel free up to 24 hours before. Croke Park's own booking site sells the family tickets, which is the better deal for two adults with young children. Either way, Croke Park advises booking ahead to be sure of a place.
The Skyline is different. Croke Park sells it as "online advance booking only", and places are limited. Book it before you travel, on either site.

What are the GAA Museum opening hours?
Generally 9:30 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday, with shorter Sunday hours. Tours run from 11:00 to a last departure at 15:00, and the museum closes at 17:00.
Croke Park does not print one fixed timetable for the museum, and listings for Sunday disagree with each other. Plan around the tour times, which are published, and confirm Sunday or bank holiday visits on crokepark.ie or by phone on +353 1 819 2323. Stadium Tour departures in 2026:
| Months | Stadium Tour departures |
|---|---|
| January to May | 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 daily |
| June | Hourly 11:00 to 15:00 (Saturday from 10:00) |
| July | 11:00 to 15:00, with half-hourly slots |
| August | As July, plus 10:30 on non-match days |
| September to December | 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 daily |
Christmas is the exception: in late December the museum closes early on the 23rd and shuts for several days around Christmas and New Year. Arrive 10 minutes before your tour. On a 15:00 tour, go round the museum first, because it shuts at 17:00 and the tour takes 90 minutes.
Lock in a morning slot and take the museum at your own pace afterwards. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

The gift shop, the cafe and the picnic area need no ticket. Under-3s go free on every ticket, and a match ticket gets you into the museum free on match day.
- The gift shop is open to the public, with no ticket or booking needed.
- The cafe serves hot lunches, sandwiches and pastries daily, and there is an outdoor picnic area for packed lunches.
- A match ticket includes free entry to the museum from the moment the turnstiles open.
- Children under 3 go free on the museum, the Stadium Tour and the family tickets.
There is no free day for the museum itself that we could find. The cheapest way to see the whole bowl full of life is a league game in spring, with a match ticket that also opens the museum. See is Croke Park worth visiting for that option.

Is the GAA Museum open on match days?
Usually, with changed hours. Tours may run to an adjusted schedule or not at all, so check your date before you travel.
Croke Park warns that the museum "may be closed or tours may run on an adjusted schedule" on match days. In July and August there are pre-match tours on some fixtures. Summer is also when the All-Ireland series fills the calendar, so a summer Saturday or Sunday is the date most likely to be affected.
The fixtures are on gaa.ie. If a game clashes with your only free day, think about buying a match ticket instead: you get the museum free from turnstile opening, and you see the place full.
How long do you need, and when should you go?
Two hours: 90 minutes for the tour and at least 30 for the museum. The 11:00 tour leaves the afternoon free for the city.
Autumn and winter are the steady months, with three departures a day and no championship games. Winter also brings the Skyline's dusk tours, when the city lights come on below the walkway; times and dates are in our winter 2026-27 tour times post. Around Christmas the schedule shortens, as the Christmas 2026 post explains.
Getting there is the last trap. The museum is under the Cusack Stand, reached from St Joseph's Avenue off Clonliffe Road, not from Jones Road. How to get to Croke Park has the full directions.

The other way to see the museum: a walk on the stadium roof, 17 storeys up, with six viewpoints across Dublin. Ages 12 and up.
