Croke Park Tour and GAA Museum · Croke Park, Dublin 3
A guide takes you through the dressing rooms, down the players' tunnel to the pitch and up into the stands of an 82,300-seat stadium, and the GAA Museum comes with the ticket. Pick it if you want Croke Park at ground level, the way the players see it, and you have anyone under 12 in the group.

This is the tour Croke Park runs itself, and the one most visitors mean when they say they are going to the GAA Museum. It starts in the museum under the Cusack Stand with a 20-minute film, then a guide walks you through the stadium. Croke Park's own description lists the All-Ireland team dressing rooms, the players' tunnel out to pitchside, a seat in the VIP area and the top tier for the view over the pitch. The whole thing takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.
The museum is the part people underrate. Your ticket includes it, before or after the tour, and it holds the original Sam Maguire Cup and Liam MacCarthy Cup, the GAA Hall of Fame and a Games Zone where you can test your hurling and football. Bought alone, the museum costs €10 for an adult at the desk. With the tour it costs nothing extra, which is why almost nobody needs a separate museum ticket. Give it at least 30 minutes.
Two caveats. Match days change everything: the museum may close and tours can run on an adjusted schedule, so check before you pick a date in the summer championship. And this tour stays on the ground. The walkway on the roof is a separate ticket, the Skyline rooftop tour, and is not part of this one.
Walk up Clonliffe Road and turn into St Joseph's Avenue by the Daybreak shop. The museum is under the Cusack Stand. There is no access from Jones Road or the Hogan Stand.
Every tour opens with a short film in the museum on the games and the stadium.
The guide leads you to the dressing rooms, down the players' tunnel to pitchside, into the VIP seats and up to the top tier. Expect stories about Bloody Sunday, the stands and why the grass looks so green.
Back where you started: the two great cups, the Hall of Fame and the Games Zone. You can also see it before the tour.
The museum cafe serves hot lunches and sandwiches daily, and the gift shop is open to everyone.

Yes. Every Stadium Tour ticket includes the GAA Museum, and you can see it before or after the tour. Croke Park's tour FAQ says to allow at least 30 extra minutes for it.
About 1 hour 30 minutes, including a 20-minute film at the start. With the museum, plan on two hours.
You go pitchside, out through the players' tunnel, but the grass itself is off limits. For the view straight down onto it, the Skyline rooftop tour is the one.
Sometimes. Tours may run earlier before an evening game, and in July and August there are pre-match tours with limited places. The museum may close or open on adjusted hours, so check the date before you book.
