Guinness Storehouse · St James's Gate, Dublin 8

The Guinness Storehouse

A self-guided climb through seven floors of the old fermentation plant at St James's Gate, ending with a pint in the Gravity Bar on the roof. Pick it for a different half day: it's Dublin's other big visit, and you can spot it from the Croke Park Skyline.

Guinness Storehouse Entry Ticket

About this experience

The Guinness Storehouse fills a former fermentation plant at St James's Gate, on the west side of the city. According to Discover Ireland you work your way up seven floors on brewing, advertising and the brand, and finish in the Gravity Bar with a 360-degree view over Dublin. Discover Ireland suggests 2 to 3 hours.

Extras cost more: the Guinness Academy teaches you to pour your own pint, the STOUTie prints your selfie in the foam, and there are bars and a brasserie inside. The listing is the entry ticket, so check what it covers before you add anything.

There is nothing Gaelic about it, and it is on the far side of the Liffey from Croke Park. We list it because almost everyone on a Croke Park trip goes here too, and because from the second Skyline viewpoint you can pick it out across the city. Do them on different half days.
